3D Bible for kids
By Hans Olav Arnesen
A growing number of parents have discovered the blessings of modern technology when it comes to keeping their kids occupied. iPad is a definite winner. In addition to providing a welcome distraction for the kids that make certain nessecary parental chores (like cooking their dinner) easier, the kids might even accidentally learn something from their iPad apps. That is if you choose the right, informative and wholesome applications for them to watch. One such application is the Bible BooClips from Castle Builders, more especially the Animated Kids Bible. In short the digital Bible for kids is a 3 dimensional presentation of Bible stories, like the Creation and the story of Cain and Abel. The best way of illustrating the advantages of a 3D presentation of the Bible is probably not writing about it, but to showing it, so here comes a little promotational video from The Animated Kids Bible.
Even the most tastefully animated digital 3D Bible can never replace the reading out loud of biblical stories to your kids (there no narrator like mom or dad), but digital books such as these can probably be a great addition to ordinary storytelling, as well as a helpful distraction when you just need a little time off to do whatever it is you need to do in the house. Having The Book of Genesis as a babysitter can´t be all that bad, eh?
